Glaux Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using our audio description service, Glaux, including requests sent through this website. "We" and "us" mean Axolotl Interactive LLC. By sending us a video, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Eligibility
You confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, and at least 18 to use any part of Glaux that requires payment.
The service
We send back an audio description of your video, recorded as its own audio file, by email: either as an attachment, or as a Google Drive link if the file is too large to attach.
The trial period
Glaux is free during a trial period that ends in January 2027. We will try to describe every video we receive, and we choose which videos to describe and in what order.
Descriptions
Descriptions we generate are released under Creative Commons Zero (CC0).
Representations
By sending us a video, you represent and warrant that: (i) you own the video or have secured all rights necessary to send it to us; (ii) each individual who can be identified in the video has consented to its processing as described in our privacy policy; and (iii) the video is lawful.
Content
We may, in our sole discretion, decline any video that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, primarily sexual in nature, or otherwise objectionable. We report illegal content to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
No warranty
Glaux is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, in no event shall we or our members be liable, under contract, tort, negligence or any other legal theory, for any lost profits, data loss, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, Glaux, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any other damages is limited to the amount you paid us for the service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us and our members harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from any video you send us, any use you make of a description we provide, or your violation of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting the revised terms here with a new effective date. We may also change, suspend or discontinue Glaux at any time. Your use of Glaux is subject to the terms in effect at the time of such use.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
Owners of copyrighted works who believe that their rights under U.S. copyright law have been infringed may take advantage of certain provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") to report alleged infringements by providing notice to our Designated Agent as required by the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512:
